o NoIDE release 1.3 (10/4/1995)
Inhibits the ROM based IDE device driver on OS3.x Amiga 4000s by removing it directly from the ROMTag list. For use in hardware setups where no IDE drive is physically present, preventing on OS3.1 a 30 second (about 9 seconds on OS3.0) boot delay while the system waits for the drive. I've been running it since before October 1994 without any problems!
The latest version of NoIDE (1.3) was made available on 10/4/1995
